On March 19th, 2013, Cartoon Network officially announced a spin off to the game called FusionFall Heroes. Note: The FusionFall Legacy Demo is no longer in development, and has been replaced with FusionFall Retro Numbuh Five was confirmed to be an interactive NPC in The Demo during the Demo Teaser Trailer. She originates from the Cartoon Network show Codename: Kids Next Door. This officially lead to an official announcement on August 23rd, 2013, where Cartoon Network confirmed that the game will be shut down on the 29th of that same month. Numbuh Five, or Abigail Lincoln, is the cool, collected member of Sector V.

In this update, the academy replaced the Future as beginning of the game, this update was unpopular with older internet fans of the game.
